Our belief
Saved by grace through faith.
We know and believe that the gospel of grace is God’s gift to all of humanity, given through His Son Jesus and this gift is freely given to all. We just receive it by faith. We can’t earn it by right living, nor can we boast about having received it. It is quite simply a gift from God.
Preaching and teaching the gospel of grace according to Romans 8 verse 1; Ephesians 2 verse 8 and John 3 verse 16
Displaying the love of Jesus through fellowship and outreach ministry according to John 3 verse 16 and 1 John 4 verse 10. Not that we loved Him, but that He loved us first.
Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you. Ephesian 4 verse 32.
For us as a church to know that life’s many challenges produces a character filled with hope in Jesus and this hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us. Romans 5 verse 5.
Sharing and teaching the truth about Jesus, His grace and His death and resurrection. How Jesus has delivered us from a life of condemnation, shame and guilt forever, according to John 3 verse 17 and Romans 8 verse 1.
We are an evangelistically alive church. Having established this church on the streets of Johannesburg, before we ever gathered in a building. We believe in being the hands and feet of Jesus through monthly street evangelism outreach programmes. This we do in partnership with community Pastors and leaders from all over South Africa.
